First things first. How old were you when you tried you first bikini, thong, g-string swimsuit?
What do you remember about it?
Did it get you excited.
My first was at 13 years old.
My neighbors mom bought him a sexy bikini to swim in but he did not want it.
I took one look at it, a spandex form fitting suit that was just a little smaller then a speedo.
He let me try it on and it gave me an instant hard-on.
That is the moment I fell in love with sexy men's swimwear.

I always liked the beach, but since 2007, when my wife started wearing some skimpy bikinis, the world of small and extra-small bikinis called my attention.
I thought that I would be very jealous to see her wearing those small bikinis and the other guys staring at her (and even throwing some nasty comments), but i got used to it and there weren't so many comments, after all.
I starting browsing the web searching bikinis for her and once (more or less a year ago) I stumbled across some sites that sold micro and extreme bikinis for men also.
At first I didn't give it much attention, but after some looks at the sites and designs, I decided two things (don't know which one more radical for me):
1 - I would try some small bikinis
2 - I would get in shape so that my body looked better in those bikinis (although I can never aspire to be a model). I then bough a box cut short Lycra bikini; when I received it and tried it on, I was very excited (also had a hard on). By this time, I already had decided to wax my entire body, so that the effects of wearing these kind of bikinis were better (it also gave a better perception of my body and what to work first). I discovered that waxing my entire body is also good in hygienic terms and my wife just loves to not having any hair to delve during sex. When in between wax sessions, when my hair is growing, she now says that my body is "strange".
After my first buy, I started wearing smaller and smaller bikinis (first small Lycra tight fit boxers, then regular bikinis, finally thong bikinis - including 4 koala bikinis, 3 of them thong - tyrant, envy and answer bikini, the other one is the pinnacle bikini). I'm still unable to wear string bikinis at this time, will see if I can try one this summer...
Every time I put my micro bikinis on, I get a hard on and precum is massive!!
So, as you can tell by my words, i went rapidly from the regular hairy, long large boxer short male, to the metrosexual (has they call it nowadays) hairless, (more or less) fit and thong wearer man and I just love it.
That's why I love koala swimwear so much (I use and like other brands too) and there is no chance of going back...

I feel iudentified with you because that is exactly what happened to me too. But I'm stikll not decided to wax my entire body, but I shave dick and balls, anyway. I still feel uncomfortable wearing thongs in public, but in sex they're wonderful. Regards. Continue sending more stories.

The first time I ever wore a bikini swimsuit was shortly after I moved to San Francisco in 1973. I walked into a shop on Polk Street and saw a rack of sexy swimsuits. I asked if I could try one on and picked a thin unlined suit and went into the dressing room. A minute later the clerk (male, of course) peeked in to supposedly see how it fit. I'm sure I was semi-hard and it felt sooo good. I bought it and wore it constantly as underwear and to the beach. To his day I've never worn boxer shorts. Skimpy bikinis are the best. I advocate for them all the time. Straight men need to get over their fears about wearing speedos at the beach. Women would go wild to see men in small suits.

I've been in love with minimal swimwear ever since puberty. At 15 I bought the skimpiest speedos available to wear at the beach and public pools. At that time (around 1970) speedos were actually common bach wear here, so that wasn't very daring - I just got the very smallest ones. But I also made my own thong underwear at about 16. You could buy underwear that essentially consisted of a small triangle in front and a part to cover your ass. I cut away the back part (except for the thin waistband) and replaced it with a string though my ass. I got a big thrill out of wearing that outfit in locker rooms.
At 19 I shaved my pubes completely for the first time, and went on doing so until I had a laser depilation to make it permanent.
In the early 80s I started finding some shops that actually sold g-string swimwear. Since then I've never worn anything else, either to the beach or to public pools. Legally this is less of a problem in Norway than in parts of the US, as we have no laws to say what minimum you need to cover up. Fashionwise you do stick out, as most men here & everywhere now wear shorts that come way down their thighs. I do avoid beaches frequented by a lot of families with children, but with that self-imposed restriction I've had a lot of pleasure and no real problems.
By now I've probably bought and worn upwards of 100 mimimal swimsuits. My preference is for suits that are as minimal as they can possibly get without actually exposing penis or balls. I wouldn't go for any of the extreme Koala suits where your dick and/or scrotum actually stick out. But I don't mind if they are see-thru when wet. That actually turns me on.

I just tried gstrings two years ago when I was 28. I never really was into them...then when my wife (ex now) were separated for a few months, I really got into looking at men in gstrings. I bought a few gstrings and wore them around and instantly loved them. I still get hard and thick every time I put one on. We got back together and one night we were sitting around and I walked out in the living room wearing just a red velvet gstring. She was able to leave it on me for about two minutes before she ripped it off and got on top of me! I started buying gstrings from Koala and other places to where now all I wear are gstrings. Hey, guys ... I've adored this type of swimwear since I was about 12 years old. I used to make it using my mother's sewing materials and used to ask my younger brother to try it on with me. Years later, I discovered shaving my pubes and dressing up in feminine underwear. I've always loved women's bodies but gave up about ten years ago resisting a smooth, lean man. Today, after two hetero marriages, I'm in a gay relationship with a very broad-minded man who doesn't necessarily understand my swimwear fetish but is happy to dive in and participate in the adventure. Together, we've met four or five guys who were willing to join us for 3-somes. Every one of our "guests" is thrilled to let me shave him more or less completely; indulge our tastes for his beautiful body; and model one or more pieces of Koala swimwear for bedroom enjoyment. None of us have found the proper place or strength of will to wear the swimwear out in public -- where do other guys find for that pleasure?

I first wore speedos when I was 12 yo. I LOVED the sexy felling of the fabric when it was wet against my cock and balls. I Love the entire line of Koala. I myself was about the same age of 13 or so when I came to view swimwear as erotic. I was a competitive swimmer from age 8 to well into college. I love wearing really small suits that barely cover. Small underwear and thongs intrigue me as well. Love your site Koala and adding this blog for like minded men! Kudos

Just returned from a cruise from St Thomas to St Martin to Aruba / Cursaco and back. 92, sunny every day and a great breeze. I'm 58, in great shape and into brief swim wear but have never had the nerve to wear any in public. Well I decided that this trip it was now or never so I found a secluded area on the deck above one of the bars on the Adventure of the Seas (Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines) pulled down my dork shorts and laid out in bright yellow N2N thong with the 'nhance pouch design. I covered my head with a towel with just enough room to peak out below and waited. The feeling was nothing short of exillerating and liberating. It wasn't long before a tall, tan stud strolled by. He looked over the rail right in front of me, paused to look at my package for what seemed an eternity, cleared his throat three of four times and then walked away only to return on two other occasions.
Shortly thereafter a 27 ish blond in a bikini walked by, stopped, stared and said "Oh my god In Heaven". She too stayed for several minutes. I pretended to sleep trying in ignore some obvious feelings. Within 20 min the once empty deck had about 15 - 20 people many with cameras. As the crowd thinned I rolled over and it wasn't long and there was again standing room only.
I hardly left the ship and had the best vacation of my life.
Just for the record, I brought with me 7 different suits, one for each day. I had several N2N, 2 Dore', and two from Koala and Joe Snyder. I repeated the same experience each day of the cruise. I saw lots of gals on the boat in thongs but I was the only guy although some had fairly brief bikinis. I only regret that I haven't done this all sooner. I have a secret stash of over 50 suits that I've worn secretly under clothing for years. No more!! I'm myself from now on.
In the evenings, I wore my skinny jeans to the various clubs on the ship and was well accepted by all.

I was 12 when speedos appeared in the shops. Then one day I was window shopping and I saw a tiny white BVD bikini brief with fishnet sides and back. I walked past many times before I plucked up the courage to go in. My face was red, but the girl at the counter put me at ease and said the small size would fit me and I had enough money from my paper-round. I took it home and loved it. I didn't wear it to school, just evenings and weekends and washed it when I had a bath. A few weeks later I bought the briefest speedo I could find (patterned purple) and when my mother and brothers were out I used her sewing machine. I had unpicked the leg seams over a few evenings and cut material away to make the front and back much narrower; and the sides almost up to the waistband. Once I had hemmed over the edges, I went to my bedroom and inserted narrow elastic and tried it on. It looked great and felt so good that I became very hard.
The Public pool was outdoors, so it was mainly kids that went there and next weekend there was sun so I went with my usual group of friends. We all went with our speedos under our shorts and dumped our clothes in a heap on the grass and rapidly jumped in and played our usual silly games. I have worn skimpy swimwear for years. I shave my entire body, except for my scalp, and am proud to do so. However, I recently moved to a rough neighborhood. Our yard is completely in the open from all sides. Each time I went out to tan last summer, I was afraid of the neighbors seeing me out there. There are also small children at the place directly behind ours. So basically I didn't get the tan I wanted or am used to getting. In the past, I would get compliments on my tan from the employees I supervised, especially the hot Negro chicks! Does anyone out there have any suggestions other than moving again? I can't afford to do that right now. I really fear my neighbors because of the things I have witnessed and the police activity in the area.

I love to wear thongs on the beach I have done for years. I cannot wait for my first suit from koala to turn up. I have not sen many guys on the beaches in Queensland in thongs on the beach but I love it. I love the looks I get mostly good comments too. I would be happy to post photos if anyone is interested. I also live in a apartment building with a pool and have just started suntanning there to as well as on my balcony. No one has seen me down at the pool yet I can only wait and hope. I am looking forward to going to the beach in my new swimwear and will be purchasing more soon.

You're almost right. Larry - laser is definitely the best way to go, provided you (1) can afford it and (2) have dark hair that lasers work on. Happily I have met both requirements, but not all of my often blond Scandinavian compatriots, nor penniless students or other poor people do. So let's not get too absolute about this, but if you've got the prerequisites, then laser treatment really is the hottest. One thing is that you get COMPLETELY smooth - another great thing is knowing that you'll be like that FOREVER.

When I was about 11 or 12 years old, we had a summer houe close to the sea. Our neighbours included the two sons who were older than me and real hunks. One of them it seems loved wearing tiny swim trunks or underwear. Sometimes these would be hanging on their washing line on the roof. One afternoon I spotted a pair of red briefs. I couldn't resist! I jumped over the roof, borrowed the little red briefs, and ran downstairs to our bathroom to try them on! It felt so hot and good. Since then, I have always worn tiny briefs under my shorts, trousers and on the beach. I love the look and the feel of them. I have a huge collection of tiny underwear and beachwear. The smaller the better! Luckily, here in Malta we have a couple of beaches where I can wear the tiny strings.
