Hand wash-Air dry
I get the longest life out of my swim wear by hand washing them in a mild detergent and then letting them air dry. I feel that they last much longer when you put a little care into your suits. They look much better too.

I would love to hear about reactions you have got from people seeing you in sheer swim wear. I have been on public beaches in LA wearing completely sheer thongs and bikinis, but of course since it not legal I make sure they are not crowded spots with families. I can honestly say I have never had a negative reaction, always smiles or gapping gawking stares, either way it is always fun.
