Could use your help..check out this post

I was doing some search work on the web when I came across this post on a major site.
It said “most disturbing mens swimwear” you could google that but I added a link to it.

My thought is any press on a major site is great but I’m sure if the same shot was of a woman the feedback might have been different.

If you have a minute check it out and if you feel the urge comment on it.

Post here to let me know what you think about it.

Thanks
MD

  1. I believe that good or bad, there will always be positive aspects of “free publicity”. Even most of the comments are not good, some of the people seeing it will, at least, not dislike it entirely and will, eventually, share the link with some people you normally would not have visiting the site.
I’m a fan of Koala, even if this isn’t one of my preferred designs

Who knows the reaction might have been the same with a full hard cock but no doubt different with a cleaned shaved pussy. That said I would love our stuff in every blog and site on the planet. It would help spandex lovers find us!

  2. What is disturbing enough about the photo to inspire the commentator to post an internet message about it? I have seen a lot more disturbing things than that and there are plenty more I have not seen. That boy needs a life! It’s free advertising for you.

    Keep them cuming!

  3. I can see how the reaction at large might be uncomfortable to us (fans of your designs), but understandable. Let’s face it: this is the same crowd who are homophobic and/or uncomfortable with any concepts of sexuality or aesthetics that are outside the “norm”.

Is that site really a major one? I can’t say I’ve ever even looked at it before, nor really heard of it.

It rates well. Is there really a norm any longer or maybe I have lived in LA toooooo long.

  4. hay M.D., I still can’t believe how many narrow minded people that there are……
I can only say that after reading those people’s comments about the models picture, I want to point out that these people haven’t taken a very good look in the mirror to see just how ugly and closed minded they can be and live !!!!
I don’t give a holy shit what they think and they can just go stick their opinions where the sun don’t shine and that’s not only up their ass……

  5. The negative “pub” won’t really matter; even bad publicity tends to generate additional sales.

My personal opinion is that Koala has many great designs, of which I’ve owned and proudly worn.

But in an effort to constantly push the envelope, you’re designs nowadays are almost unwearable and again, in my personal opinion, have become entirely novelty.

I miss the days when Koala made suits that were the very hottest designs money could buy, but that could still realistically be worn in public.

Sano and everyone one else out there
tell me what you would love to wear at the beach or around a busy pool.
I know our suits are extreme but I want to offers suits you feel you can wear anywhere and still push the envelope.

  6. David, I see how you could view that as “bad” publicity, however, the model is quite muscular, a beefcake, shall I say. If the model were slim and “twink” it may be viewed differently. I can say by my own tastes that hunky muscled men in fem suits are not a turn on. Smooth boy-ish figures work better visually for me. So it seems to me that maybe this person reacted to the contrast of the model and the suit, rather than the suit being not sexy or of good taste. You have many fans……..

    Thanks!!

  7. There are to many people on the web that are just followers and can’t think for themselves. That suit is just fine, different suits for different lifestyles. Just look at the WickedWeasel site that sell swimwear for women. They sell see thru suits that women wear on public family friendly beaches and no one make a fuss about women showing their pussy in public.

  8. Hey MD,
I think you need to view these comments for what they are, bullshit. You can imagine that the women who commented were probably nervous thinking God I hope my man is not secretely wearing this, how could he be needing satisfaction other than what I give him! And the men who commented were thinking how fucking hot is this stuff, and where do I get some of it, and how do I keep it hidden from my wife! Seriously, they say the percentage of the male population in AUS that ADMIT to wearing a g string is less than one, and the same for women who want to see their man wearing one, but all the staff I have chatted to in different shops whilst buying from adult stores reckon that’s crap, almost every woman that gets a pair of erotic underwear for sexual enjoyment then buys one, for her MALE! As one of your earlier poster said, any publicity is good publicity, and can you imagine how many more favourites folders your site is now stored in????? Koala Rocks! Oh, and I just bought a man slut cage, wanna autograph it for me?

  9. I love Koala suits! But most people have never heard of or seen anything like it. In America the norm is Board shorts. And to fit in and not get comments made to you we conform. We are so worried about being rejected that we abandon self pleasure. But if we wear what we all would like to no one would be excepting. I would bet if you were to go inside these peoples minds they would think the same way we do but because their on FB were everyone they know can read their post they have to make them selves out to be against abnormal things or else they them selves maybe looked at as abnormal. Also I would think that most men would understand what Koala is doing and most woman wouldn’t.

  11. There will always be a group that thinks we must completely cover ourselves! I for one think the suit show is terrific, I have ordered one and I look forward to sunning my balls at the beach. I love the missing cock look it provides, allowing the smallest amount of coverage possible. I think there is nothing more stunning than a nice st of bare split balls, no matter how large or small! Balls are like breasts and nipples, all shapes and sizes can look great and should be emphasized and displayed!

  12. Mike, I hope you are not too worried about this! I agree with all the above – the person needs a life. It is a low down way of registering an opinion. For some reason out there women’s gear is commented on as being risqué but, generally, never condemned. For men it is different – for some reason we have to be in baggy clothing, board shorts etc etc. Any display of the male form is regarded as over the top. This person should do what Jennifer suggests – look at Wicked Weasel but also the bikini.com or dubio bikini to see some way out women’s gear. I would not wear the subject suit but live and let live for heaven’s sake. It is no different to watching a TV programme – if you don’t want to watch it turn it off or don’t look. Keep at it Mike you are doing heaps for all men if they want to display their fit bodies or not.

    Cheers,

    David

  13. Again, just my opinion here.

Fairly simple thongs and g-strings that are VERY minimal while keeping the outstanding quality of materials you’ve always used, in a wider range of colors.

I can’t remember the names of all the various discontinued Koala styles that I’ve worn but if you have any of your old catalogs laying around, send me a couple and we’ll chat via e-mail if you like.

  14. The problem is the old type of people from the time of Cromwell in England who still exist as Lord’s Day Observant Society basically if you enjoy anything ban it.

  15. Changed Man is a pretty radical concept. I’ve been wearing g-strings on public beach for over 20 years and Koala suits for over 12 years, and I think I’d have a problem being able to pull that one off at my local thong friendly beach given the legal requirements. I’m hooked on “Nasty Bitch” so I think I have disqualified myself as a “prude.” Still it looks like it would be fun to wear and, given the tightness, probably provides some awesome sensations for the wearer.

As for those folks’ opinions, I’ve heard it all before, and it does not phase me. If it’s your thing, and you have guts to wear it, seize the moment! I’d love to be the model who is getting that kind of viral exposure on the Internet.

  16. The world is full of people who will complain about anything that is outside of their personal experience or comfort zone. I have decided that most of them tend to be idiots! The fem-style suits don’t appeal to me, but I have purchased lots of Koala suits over the years and have enjoyed them for myself and for display in public.

I was listening to a radio show the other day where the jocks were complaining about guys who wear ordinary Speedos out in public. All I could think was “You ain’t seen nothing, yet!!” Skin is a fine covering–you don’t need to hide behind all that bulky, baggy cloth!

You do some great stuff–keep it up! Thanks!
